Heritage Inventory History of Site: A bridge at this point was first constructed from bluestone and wood in 1860.

Heritage Inventory Interpretation: Site is the remains of possibly the first bridge crossing over the Yarra at this point. It reflects the period of initial settlement of the area in terms of improvement in infrastructure.
