STAR OF THE EAST CO - Heritage Inventory Description
Sites 44.01 to 44.05: All of these sites are almost totally destroyed. This Star of the East mine site consists of a number of mounds, including a pile of basalt and broken bricks, and covers an area 50m by 20m. The mounds are up to 1m high. The Rose Co site consists of some mounding covering an area 30m by 30m. and up to 1m high. The site of the British GM Co consists of a number of mounds which cover an area 30m by 30m. and are up to 1m high. The site Kossiaski Co mine consists of mounding covering an area 50m by 30m and up to 1m high. The Saint David Co site consists of mounding covering an area 50m by 30m and up to 1m high.
