      CALEDONIA CO. - Heritage Inventory Description

      At site No. 54.01 there six heaps all of which appear to have been disturbed and partly removed, and at least two of these appear to be from other shafts if not other mines. The heaps vary in size from 80m by 20m to 20m by 10m and all are between 1 and 2m high. There is up to 50m between these heaps. The circular formation at the east end of the heap on the eastern side of this site may be a horse puddler. It is in very poor condition.
