The memorial is a grey granite obelisk on a 2-stepped granite base. There is a flagpole on the south west side.

Tungamah War Memorial - Veterans Description for Public
The Tungamah Memorial, on Barr and Middleton Streets, comprises of a grey granite obelisk on a two -stepped granite base. It was erected in 1919 to commemorate local soldiers who served in the First World War. It was later re-dedicated to include those who served in the Second World War. it is flanked by a flagpole on the south west side.
