The Murtoa Memorial Gates form the entrance to Lake Marma Reserve, commemorating the First and Second World Wars and Vietnam. The gates resemble a white-painted concrete arch with four pillars and feature a bronze soldier on top of the arch facing east towards the town. At each of the openings there are ornate metal gates, with double gates in the centre and a single gate on either side. Tablets affixed to the pillars list the names of both servicemen and women.
