      The Ashburton War Memorial, on High Street and Samaranda Avenue, comprises of a rough cut stone monument. It is dedicated to all men and women who served Australia in times of war. The monument includes the foundation stone and a memorial plaque from the original cenotaph memorial and former R.S.L. Hall on High Street.
