The Benalla War Memorial, located in the botanical gardens on Bridge Street, was established April 15th 1922. The memorial comprises of a statuary monument of a digger standing at ease. It lists a total of 199 soldiers who fell in the First World War, Second World War, Korea and Vietnam.
