Marong War Memorial Gates - Veterans Description for Public
The Marong War Memorial Gates are located in front of the old Marong Shire Hall, on the corner of Adams and High Streets. The memorial was unveiled on 11th November 1926 to commemorate the First World War, the left pillar lists names of those Marong residents who served:

J.G. Green
E.S. Goulden
L. Pocock
H.K. Palmer
F.E. Salis
Names were then added to the right pillar in memory of those residents who served in the Second World War:
