Casterton Boer War Memorial - Physical Description 1
Location: Bryan Park, Henty Road (Highway) and Russell Street Position: 37 35 40 S 141 23 64 E Type: Monument Established: Names: 2 Fallen Commemorates: BoerMemorial lamp erected to commemorate the Boer War.
The memorial is an ornate metal column with figures and objects such as heads of angels and lions. It stands on a square smooth granite block on a square rough granite block. This memorial is strongly Imperial . "To those brave men who fought for Queen and Country in South Africa, 1900". Stylistically it forms an interesting contrast with the Boer war memorial in Camperdown

Casterton Boer War Memorial - Veterans Description for Public
Located in Bryan Park, the Casterton Boer War Memorial is an ornate metal column with figures and objects such as heads of angels and lions. The column stands on a square smooth granite block which is positioned on a square rough granite block. Stylistically it forms an interesting contrast with the Boer War Memorial in Camperdown. The east face eads, "erected by the people of this district to the memory of those brave men of Casterton who gave their lives for Queen and country in South Africa 1900." The north face reads, "Pte Stock killed in action Rensberg Feb 9th." The west face reads, "Pte H. Sealey died at Bloomfontein April 30th 1900."
