The site has been assessed as moderate. While the site has undergone some disturbance it is possible that some in site sub-surface deposits survive. Moreover, it contains both domestic and architectural artefacts.

OLD DANDENONG ROAD ARTEFACT SCATTER - History
Formed part of J O'Shannassy's run 'Windut', taken up in 1842. Transferred to King Brothers in 1846. Part of market gardening/specialised farming precinct since mid-1850's. Nearby 20th Century sand mining, urban and industrial development.OLD DANDENONG ROAD ARTEFACT SCATTER - Interpretation of Site
May be the remains of a late19th Century domestic site.

OLD DANDENONG ROAD ARTEFACT SCATTER - Heritage Inventory Description
Covers an area of 10x30m. Encompasses highly-distrubed soil that has been farrowedand mounded. Contains numerous artefacts: transfer-printed ceramic tableware. 19th to early 20th Century bottle glass and fragments of red brick. May have in-site sub-surface deposits.
