LOUGHNAN STREET, TARRAVILLE - History
Reeve purchased the Special Survey in 1841, and the survey was laid out in 1843. While the western side of Loughnan Street was an important centre of activity by 1844, the history of this eastern section is much less clear.LOUGHNAN STREET, TARRAVILLE - Interpretation of Site
The features appear to be part of the Loughnan Street drainage system.

LOUGHNAN STREET, TARRAVILLE - Heritage Inventory Description
Parallel ditch and bank feature running E-W in location of former street. Northern ditch and bank are readily visible, but southern ditch is visible along eastern third only.
Two parallelsets of ditches and banks separated by m. Ditches are between 1-2m wide; N bank is approximately .25m high, but little remains of south bank.
Physical Conditions: North ditch and bank good. South ditch and bank poor.
