FORMER BADDAGINNIE STATION - History
Baddaginnie was opened for passenger traffic on 19th February 1882 and for goods travel on 2nd April 1883. The passenger platform was located on the down side and on a straight road, the only station on the main line to do so. (Turton 1973:46.) Remains of the platform and structural material indicate the likelihood that sub-surface deposits exist below the surface.

FORMER BADDAGINNIE STATION - Heritage Inventory Description
Remnants of the station platform exist on the down or western side of the railway tracks. At the southern end of the platform, the cement blocks are shaped with their top edges sloping downwards, creating a ramp.
