    Murchison Italian Soldiers Memorial - Veterans Description for Public

    The Murchison Italian Soldiers Memorial, inside the Cemetery on Murchison-Nagambie Road, comprises of an abstract metal monument topped by a star and featuring anchors on each corner of the base. The Italian inscription translates as, " To the heroic soldiers of land-sea-sky that for the homeland sacrificed their youth. The Italian Federation of Ex Service and War Veterans and The Association of Arms." The monument was unveiled by General G. Rosa Diaz on 4th November 1975.
