    Nowa Nowa War Memorial - Veterans Description for Public

    The Nowa Nowa War Memorial was located outside the CWA Hall but was moved to a new site beside the Princes Highway. The memorial comprises of a field stone cairn with a flagstaff and plaque inscribed with "Lest We Forget." Walls flanking the memorial were added with plaques listing the dates of the Boer War, First World War, Second World War, Korea, Malaya/Borneo, Vietnam, East Timor and U.N. Peacekeeping missions.
