Stained Glass Window at Ararat Holy Trinity Anglican Church - Memorial Window Description & History
When fire engulfed the 1864 Church of the Holy Trinity, Ararat on 4 January 1940, the Argus reported the devastating loss which included all the furnishings and numerous stained glass windows. Among the latter were windows in memory of the first and second vicars, Canon Philip Homan and Canon McGeorge, as well as another to the 'soldier parishioners who gave their lives in the last war'. No record of the window has been found.
