    The window is a variation on a theme that the designer, Jacob Valstar used on several different occasions including Christ Church, Daylesford and the RSL atKangaroo Flat. Placing the painted emblems against a plain quarry background created a simple and relatively inexpensive memorial that suited the straightened financial times post-1945. It was nevertheless an elegant and entirely appropriate solution in both religious and secular contexts. The window is signed by the designer'Jaap V '56' and 'W.D. Mason Pty. Limited Stained Glass Studios Bendigo', maker of the window.
