Statement of Significance
The former "Cricket Club" hotel was built in 1865 for John Glover as the "Prince Albert" hotel and is situated at no. 95 Mount Alexander Road, Fleminqton. It is historically important as an early and rare surviving building of its type (Criteria A and B) whilst its austere design is representative of the mid Victorian period and of interest in this respect.
