The Bicentennial Commemorative Plaque and bluestone rock is historically significant at a Local level for its association with the local citizens celebration of the Bicentennial event (A4) and as a representative site of the high diversity of cultural use of the land in Fyansford, since white settlement in 1837. (A3) Overall, the Bicentennial Commemorative Plaque and bluestone rock is of Local Significance.

Bicentennial Commemorative Plaque - Physical Description 1
The plaque is fixed onto an untoolled section of locally quarried bluestone, which is resting on the ground, The bronze plaque is recessed into a broad face of the rock. The plaque was erected by the local citizens and their elected local government, to celebrate Australia's Bicentennial of white settlement.
