Statement of Significance
The former Loyal Albert lodge Hall was built in stages culminating in the 1930's additions to meet the corporate needs of the Independent Order of Oddfellows (Criterion A). The building consists of a single storey brick hall and a two-storey Inter war Classical building to Mt Alexander Road. The former Hall is of architectural, historical, social and aesthetic significance to the municipality (Criterion E). The architectural style is relatively grand in the Mt Alexander streetscape. The hall is a good surviving local example of the Inter War Classical style. The former Loyal Albert is also socially significant for its association with the Trustees of the Loyal Albert Lodge MU lOaF who were instrumental in establishing social change in the protection of financial well-being of its local members (Criterion G).

LOYAL ALBERT LODGE HALL - Physical Description 1
The 1912 brick half is located behind the two storey building. The two storey building is of the Inter War Free Classical style and built in the 1930's (date on parapet). The facade is symmetrical, and accentuated with a heavy entablature suggesting a segmental pediment, the corners have raised rendered quoins window design and ornaments are based on Palladian motives. Changes may have been made the ground floor facade.
