Statement of Significance
Site has local significance for its association with the early settlement of the Yandoit Creek area following the gold rushes of the 1850s. It has archaeological potential.

Antonio Pavich owned the land on which this sited is located. It is not known when he purchased it but it was prior to 1898. The Yandoit Creek Diggings site is located partially on the same land (Allotment 10).ANTONIO PAVICH SITE - Interpretation of Site

ANTONIO PAVICH SITE - Heritage Inventory Description
Two stone chimneys with remains of stone footings of two long, parallel structures. Just to the north of these is a stone lined and rendered pit [cistern] and a semi - subterranean rectangular structure [creamery] of local stone. To the west of these is a small square stone feature - about 2x2 mts
