House - Physical Description 1
An Italianate Villa with a tower, an unusual feature for the relatively modest scale of the house. Otherwise the house is a typical assymmetrical villa with a slate hipped roof and a projecting wing. This has an agled bay window which is reflected in the roof form. The square tower has a stuccoed cornice, brackets separated by garlands and Corinthian pilaster. The tower is further enhanced (as is the bay window) by elaborate impost mouldings between the segmental arched double hung windows. Other than the front veradah being removed and the high timber fence, the house is relatively intact.
