It was mentioned in The Horsham Times on the 9th of August 1912 in Mrs. Emelia Rokesky's obituary that she and her late husband were the original owners of the block of land on which the Collingwood post office now stands. Rumour has it that the deed to this property was destroyed when their property was burned down near Hamilton.
