Statement of Significance

Builtin 1859for Sir William Foster Stawell, the colony's first Attorney-General and later Chief Justice. D'Estaville was designed by the prominent colonial architects Knight & Kerr, the designers of Melbourne's Parliament House, in the Classic Revival style.
