Statement of Significance

A small polychrome brick church exceptional for its function as a Mission Church to the Chinese Community, and for its two storey warehouse-like form. It was designed by Crouch & Wilson and built in 1872 incorporating simple sash windows with Gothic heads, striking voussoirs and sparing polychrome design.
