      CHEESE AND BUTTER FACTORY - PORTLAND - Heritage Inventory Description

      Portland and Cape Bridgewater Cheese and Butter Factory built in 1892. Foundations and floors of buildings (limestone with red and yellow terracotta tiles); several timber posts (stumps only); several stone lined "tanks". Dimensions 25 x 25 m. Site inspected Jan 1994 - see card.
