Statement of Significance
A cottage of about 1860-63, of interest because it was probably the childhood home of outlaw Ned Kelly from 1863-1866 and illustrates the lifestyle of the Irish smallholders from whom he sprang. It also has features of minor architectural interest, including elegant iron grates and wood-grained ledged and braced doors.
