An impressive avenue lining the Drik Drik - Nelson Road (now rerouted) beside the Drik Drik State School. Planted early in the 1900s the trees have developed large spreading crowns and several have formed aerial roots. The planting is the most south- easterly occurrence of the species in Victoria. The adjacent State School has a Memorial Gateway with the names of soldiers and it is possible that the trees may have been an avenue of honour.
