Statement of Significance
Contribution to landscape
Particularly old
Outstanding size
These four trees are believed to have been planted in the late 1860s through to the early1870s. The best specimen is the measured tree and the other trees, whilst still making a contribution to the landscape, are poorer examples. Whilst we have 12 other entries of this species on our Register, it does seem that the trunk circumference of the tree appears to be the largest next tothose at the Ballarat Botanic Gardens and Glen Harrow,Belgrave.
