WATTLE CREEK CEMETERY - Interpretation of Site
Heritage Inventory Interpretation: Site appears to be Chewton's local cemetery, could also be related to earlier gold workings in the nearby area. The brick building could be the administration office/store shed for the cemetery. The building is well maintained and appears to still be in use.

Heritage Inventory Site Features: A number of grave sites and a red brick building with decorative cream polychrome brickwork and chimney, Gothic revival design (scalloped barge board, lunette window in gable end, drip mould pointed arches over door and window openings, stone front step)
