GAASCH'S HOMESTEAD - History
Heritage Inventory History of Site: Reputedly the first homestead of the Gaash family, probably dating to the early 1840s.
GAASCH'S HOMESTEAD - Interpretation of Site
Heritage Inventory Interpretation: Early, simple homestead from the 1840s. A dairy and a shed were added to the wattle and daub house as the family's needs changed. The reported bottle dump probably dates to the period of the Gaash family occupation.

GAASCH'S HOMESTEAD - Heritage Inventory Description
A complex of eucalyptus saplings and daub, consisting of three main areas. Some parts of the walls have stone bases and foundations.
Heritage Inventory Significance: High archaeological significance (10) and high local historical significance.

Heritage Inventory Site Features: - large structure, approximately 25 x 5 metres, with walls constructed of gum and daub. - extensive artefact dump, reported by the owners.
