CAMPBELL'S CROFT - History
Heritage Inventory History of Site: Site of former country house (original grant to Nelson Polak in 1853) purchased by council following demolition in 1950's (?).
CAMPBELL'S CROFT - Interpretation of Site
Heritage Inventory Interpretation: The formal driveway and trees indicate a prominent mansion probably partof large estate. The small terraced areas are too small for such a building and so may only be part of a larger house or outbuildings. Other parts of the park have clearly been graded, destroying evidence.
