MINER'S LOG HUT, TONSIL SPUR - Heritage Inventory Description
The hut is in remarkably good condition, although the roof has collapsed. The hut measures 6 x 4 metres. The hut is made of logs, packed together with mud.A brick fireplace remains, the bricks probably coming from the former Wandong brickworks. Bricks on the site vary in size and shape, and some have flat faces and some have frogs. The area is riddled with vertical shafts but there are none in the immediate vicinity of the hut. Two water races are nearby.
