The site contains Nos 9 and 10 shafts, concrete floors for stables and change rooms, haulage machinery foundations, boiler setting and brick stack base, dam, tramway embankment to the Central Area. No.12 shaft with concrete exhaust fan machinery and other foundations./n
Heritage Inventory Significance: The site was the first in the Wonthaggi field to be equipped with electrically powered machinery. The site is linked to the Central and Powerhouse areas. Of regional significance. The site has high cultural significance.
