    Heritage Inventory History of Site: The new Ada Mill was built about 1931-32 and operated until 1942.

    NEW ADA INCLINE - Heritage Inventory Description

    Winching site almost complete in its elements. The tube boiler twin horizontal piston, steam winch and hut are within 10m of each other on the west side of the tramway. The building has collapsed but measures 4x4m. On east side of the tramway a clear grassy area may indicate the site of the other buildings. 20mx20m.

    Heritage Inventory Significance: Regional. Most of the features of the original works in this area can be recognised from the remains, including the machinery, dwellings an tramways.
