    OLD WELL, ALLOTMENT 1, KENMARE - History

    In 1885 the government built a vermin proof fence. In allotment 1 (Kenmare Homestead) there was a house, kitchen, hut and well. The whim worked by horse power to tip water into a drain for stock.
