THE ANCIENT BRITAIN (POSSIBLE SITE) - Heritage Inventory Description
The main feature at this site is a mullock heap 25x20m and approximately 4m high. This heap is relatively undisturbed. The balance of the site is a collection of mounds which cover an area 60m long and about 30m wide around the north and north - west of the mullock heap. These mounds appear to be the remains of a gravel extraction operation and contain some quartz wash.
