WANGANUI ROAD FARM COMPLEX - History
Heritage Inventory History of Site: Former farm complex, the property is now being used by TAFE college. A TAFE employee said that when he came to the property 20 years ago, this site was covered in various old pieces of farm machinery, piles of timber and other rubbish, and it had been cleared up in the early 1980s.
WANGANUI ROAD FARM COMPLEX - Interpretation of Site
Heritage Inventory Interpretation: Probably part of a farm dump - site located to the east of the farmhouse, and a windmill is located to the west of the site. Items date to the first half of the 20th Century.

WANGANUI ROAD FARM COMPLEX - Heritage Inventory Description
Large area of cultivated soil east of farm house, probably once a kitchen garden. There is a diffuse scatter of early 20th Century glass, ceramic, metal and other artefacts fragmented by ploughing and trampling by livestock.
Heritage Inventory Significance: Assessed as moderate significance as dump sites are relatively common throughout the area. Site has been disturbed.

Heritage Inventory Key Components: Clear window glass, coloured machine and mould blown glass, clear medicine bottle, fragments of vaseline jars, plain white porcelain, blue transfer ware, glazed stoneware crockery, coal, iron nails and wire. Heritage Inventory Site Features: Homestead, cypress trees, scatter of ceramics, glass etc.
