HOUSE - Physical Description 1
This large red brick house is richly decorated with a contrasting plaster trim. The projecting triple light windows are emphasised by two Corinthian pilasters flanking the central light and supporting a plain cornice and frieze surmounted by a central triangular pediment. The unusually placed entrance is marked by a triangular pediment breaking through the verandah line. The verandah is supported on slender cast iron columns, doubled at the corner, and has ornate frieze iron. The building is generally intact and retains the decorative ridge cast iron marked with finials at the hip intersections of the roof.
