Allansford Memorial Pavilion and Gateway - Veterans Description for Public
The Allansford War Memorial Pavillion and Gateway are located on Ziegler Parade. The pavilion is a small T-shaped timber structure with an intersecting gable roof located within the local reserve. The timber grandstand was constructed in 1922 as a soldiers memorial, at a cost of £850. The gates were built to commemorate the fallen of the Second World War and form the entrance to the sports ground.
