What is significant?
The Winslow war memorial, Winslow, probably erected after World War I, is a simple obelisk cut from rock-faced granite and set on a stone base. It remembers those men who died in the first and second world wars.

  COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS
  The Winslow war memorial is one of an important group of local war memorials erected in Moyne Shire in the aftermath of World War I. It is a typical design - that of a simple stone obelisk set upon a plain stone plinth. It is similar to the memorials at Ellerslie, Hexham, Macarthur and Koroit (although the latter has been somewhat altered). Like many other war memorials in the Shire, it has been erected in a small reserve dedicated to that purpose, which is also the case at Ellerslie, Woolsthope, Chatsworth and other towns.
