    Bangholme Memorial Cross - Veterans Description for Public

    The Bangholme Memorial Cross, in Bunurong Cemetery, was erected to commemorate those who gave their service in conflicts around the world including New Zealand (1860-1861), Sudan (1885), Boer War (1899-1902), World War I (1914-1918), World War II (1939-1945), Korean War, Malayan Emergency (1950-1960), Confrontation (Indonesia 1964-1966), Vietnam War (1962-1972) and the Gulf War (1990-1991). The memorial also lists the names of those who died fighting in Vietnam.
