Memorial Window Description & History
Stained Glass Window at Sandringham All Souls' Anglican Church - Memorial Window Description & History
All Soul's Sandringham was dedicated as a First World War Memorial Church. This small window was the only one that referred to the Second World War. John Ferguson (1923-2010) and Nick Papas (1920- ) worked together at Brooks, Robinson & Co. before setting up in business together in the mid-1950s. This window was among their early commissions and the first of many windows made for this church over the following decades. The design shows Christ Bearingthe Cross, with representatives of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Nursing Services ranged about Him in the background.
