Memorial Window Description & History
Stained Glass Window at Frankston East St. Luke's Anglican Church - Memorial Window Description & History
The inclusion of a window to commemorate the Women's Services alongside the AIF, Air Force and Navy was rare, however at St. Luke's it was placed in the nave, opposite the Men's Services memorial, and thus placed on an equal footing. Badges of the Women's Army, Navy and Air Force, Nursing and Medical Corps were represented. Sumner's designs for the cycle of windows for St. Luke's, East Frankston are held by the State Library of Victoria.
