Hume & Hovell memorial monument - Physical Description 1
The unpainted memorial adjacent to 106 Rennie Street fronting Princes Freeway consists of a crafted rough-faced granite obelisk supported by a projection rough-faced granite capping, tapered rough-faced pedestal and flat, rough-faced granite base. The monument reads:
"Expedition 17th December 1824
Hume and Hovell
17th December 1924
