STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
The Boot room at the Barwon Heads Jetties I the Barwon Heads Park 7-71 Ewing Blyth Drive is aesthetically significant at the LOCAL level. It demonstrates original qualities of the Late Victorian Vernacular style which includes the gable roof form, horizontal weatherboard wall cladding, fixed timber framed nine-light window on the western gable, and decorative moulded timber windows architrave. Other intact qualities include the beaded timber door with the timber frame and the exposed timber rafters under the eaves.
The Boot Room at the Barwon Heads Jetties in the Barwon Heads Park, 7-71 Ewing Blyth Drive is historically significant at a REGIONAL level. It is associated with the revolution of maritime activities on the township of Barwon Heads since the 1890's.
Overall, the Boot Room at the Barwon Heads Jetties at 7-71 Ewing Blyth Drive in the Barwon Heads Park is of LOCAL significance.

Boot Room - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION
The small, single storey horizontal weatherboard Boot Room at the Barwon Heads Jetties in Barwon Heads Park is characterized by a gable roof form clad in recent galvanized corrugated iron. A fixed, early timber frames nine-light window is situated on the western gable end, and has a decorative moulded timber architrave. An early beaded timber door with timber frame is located on the north facade. Exposed timber rafters are a feature of the eaves. More recent additions include the rolled canvas awnings above the door and signage bracketed to the north facade.
