Statement of Significance
National Estate Register:
Location of the endemic GREVILLEA STEIGLITZIANA as well as unique site determined plant associations.
Endemic genus CHORISTEMON restricted to the Brisbane Ranges (but may be outside the Park). Fairly close
to Melbourne and Geelong.

Brisbane Ranges National Park - Physical Description 1
National Estate Register:
Dissected peneplain of low bush-covered hills west of the Rowsley fault. Of great botanical interest and utilised
for picnicking, bushwalking and bird watching. Recommended extensions (Land Conservation Council,
Victoria) would increase the park area to 10,000ha and would include two reference areas.Brisbane Ranges National Park - Physical Conditions
Condition and Integrity:
Good condition with steps being taken to improve picnic sites. Serious PHYTOPHTHORA CINNAMOMI infestations.
