COBURG RAILWAY STATION - Physical Description 1
Coburg Railway Station and platform were built in 1888 as part of the development of the Coburg (now Upfield) railway line. The Station is of tuck pointed red brick with bluestone sills and stuccoed dressings and is in the Gothic style. The platform is protected by a standard, but now rare, Victorian Railways 1880s corrugated iron verandah. The whole is substantially intact although its surroundings have changed dramatically.
