Statement of Significance
A timber church of 1909 which, despite the naive combination of a Gothic arched door with square pointed windows, achieves an elegant Arts and Crafts character in the gable woodwork, with its neatly incorporated cross, and has a natural timber finish internally. This character would have been even more pronounced with the original dark (probably stained) finish of the shiplap cladding which is now painted white.
Classified: 23/02/1989
