These Funeral Cypress are two mature specimens planted in the 1860s. The plantings at the cemetery are among the first in Beechworth which was established as a gold mining town in 1852.(Chinese Weeping Cypress) is a species of cypress native to southwestern and central
Measurements are for southern specimen. Northern specimen measures 1.6m circ; 11.5m height; 10.5m spread.
The trees are located near the Chinese section of the Beechworth Cemetery.
