Statement of Significance
Outstanding Size
Located at the rear of the sports building, this fine example of the species contributes to the collection of trees in this historic garden. This cedar is notable for its large trunk circumference. It has suffered some storm damage and would benefit from a tree management program. Other notable trees surveyed by the Royal Botanic Gardens include Cupressus torulosa, Pinus pinaster (courtyard), Arbutus unedo and the rare Jubaea chilensis.
